Archive of 3 autograph letters signed ("Baron"), 1 typed letter signed ("Baron"), a handsome 6 x 10 in photograph of a bearded Flynn inscribed "Darling Sam & Rory! Don't get scared when I come home like this Errol" and signed by the photographer "India 1949 Paul Stulio." Also in the lot is a printed photo clipped from a magazine inscribed to Dierdre Flynn from Bette Davis "Dierdre -- your father was so handsome Bette Davis". Excerpts: From Rome, no date: "I do wish you'd write more often -- I love getting a letter from you because you have no idea how much I miss you two tomatoes and just wish I could give you the biggest hug .. Tons of love from your Baron." From August 4, 1959: "Darlings It hurts so much and I am so disappointed that we won't be able to see each other this summer ... I must go to Spain to try to make some money and besides the Jamaica house is not yet finished ... But whatever happens I am definitely going to pick you up and take you to Jamaica for the Christmas vacation. And you can help me get this new house fixed up and all feminine and stuff. All the things I don't know anything about ... and we'll have horses and boats and maybe I can even fix you up with some dates, although I guess I'm going to be a little jealous when all those nice looking guys come around ... I love you so very, very much. Your Baron". (6)
