Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated August 27, 2009, additional platinum case back, setting pin, wooden presentation box, leather envelope, product literature and outer packaging.

To the best of our knowledge, this watch has never before been offered in public.

Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5970 into the market at the Basel Fair in April 2005 and replaced the celebrated reference 3970. The present platinum example was only in production for a very short period of time and the 5970 has now been completly discontinued by the firm.
