With central spike of stiff diamond section, slightly crescentic axe-blade with reinforced tips and pierced with two groups of three dots, downturned rear-fluke with reinforced tip, pierced with further dots and with traces of maker's stamp, restored open socket extending into two side-straps, on later wooden haft; together with A DECORATIVE HALBERD IN NORTH ITALIAN LATE 16TH CENTURY STYLE, with central spike of stiff diamond section, crscentic axe-blade and downturned rear-fluke, open socket, four side-straps and wooden haft
