A Cased 16-Bore Scottish D.B. Percussion Sporting Rifle

With rebrowned twist barrels cut for a belted ball, sighted to 200 yards, and signed in full on the rib, case-hardened patent breeches engraved with a tiger's head and each with platinum line and pierced platinum plug, scroll engraved tang, signed detented locks engraved with scrolls and stags, figured walnut half-stock, chequered grip and fore-end, silver escutcheon, scroll engraved iron mounts with stag's head on the butt-cap tang, iron sling mounts, and original brass-mounted ramrod (cracked): in original fitted oak case lined with tooled pigskin, with extensive accessories including steel mould and Dixon flask, and associated 16-bore shot barrels (re-worked), the lid with trade label, the front of the case with Indian inscription, London proof marks
