A GERMAN LEFT-HAND DAGGER
Late 16th Century
With double-edged blade cut with a deep central fuller and with an additional pair of fullers on the ricasso, iron hilt formed with a pair of forward-swept rounded quillons with large chiselled mulberry terminals, ring-guard incorporating a central mulberry moulding, mulberry pommel and leather-covered wooden grip with fragmentary wire binding (one quillon terminal heavily pitted, the blade chipped).
