Probably New York, circa 1840
The rectangular top with scallop-carved edges and carved acanthus-leaf corners above a conforming frame with molded edge over massive ring-turned stop-fluted carved pillars above a platform base with canted corners and convex sides over legs carved with animal paws and foliate designs, on castors; base in three sections, top with seven leaves
