Rectangular box, the cover engine-turned with narrow horizontal reeding surrounded by foliate scrolls and centred by a boldly engraved posy of flowers, the concave sides and base engine-turned with a horizontal diaper pattern, the base panel within a border engraved with scrolling foliage, the four side corners engraved with scrolls, slightly raised foliate thumbpiece
