Stamped twice L. VIRI, Circa 1740
The rectangular black leather-inset top with brass surround above a central frieze drawer and kneehole flanked by four short drawers reversing to four sham drawers, on cabriole legs with scrolled acanthus and rocaille sabots, originally ebonized, remounted, the locks replaced
