The eared rectangular white marble top surmounted by a pierced gallery, above a drapery and tassled rim, the frieze inset with reverse glass pictures decorated with floral scrolls and framed by stiff-leaf borders, the spring-loaded frieze drawer with a sliding green leather-lined writing-surface and with small open compartments to one side, the angles with mille-raie panels, above turned fluted tapering legs terminating in toupie feet, the marble broken, restorations to the reverse glass panels
