A Meissen Imari teabowl and saucer, beaker and a beaker and trembleuse stand
THE FIRST TWO CIRCA 1730, THE THIRD CIRCA 1735, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, THE FIRST WITH BLUE 71, THE SAUCER WITH BLUE ,,, THE SECOND WITH BLUE 7, THE TREMBLEUSE STAND WITH RED 2, VARIOUS INCISED MARKS
The first two painted in underglaze blue, overglaze enamels and enriched in gilding, the first with stylised flowering shrubs within iron-red and purple diaper borders divided by flowerheads (saucer with two minute areas of wear to centre); the second with the Tischchenmuster pattern, the interior of the rim with an iron-red and purple diaper border divided by flowerheads (minute chipping to footrim); the third beaker with a butterfly and a flowering shrub with above a red line and double red line border, the interior with a vitruvian scroll ornament border, the trembleuse stand with a raised gallery with pierced strapwork enriched in gilding, the well with a flowering shrub (some very small areas of wear to both, restored rim chip and crack to beaker, rim of gallery with minute chip and small firing crack) (3)
