A Meissen model of a wolf
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark to edge of base
Its coat with pale and dark-brown markings, seated on its haunches with its tail curled about its left hind-leg, its head turned to the left and with its jaws open, on a shaped rectangular mound base applied with coloured flowers and foliage (chipping to teeth, ears and foliage, slight chipping to claws and right front paw)
