A Model electrically-lit Half-Track Fire Corps Truck, built to a design by Derek Meddings
presumed to be constructed for film or television use, production details not known, constructed around wooden frame, with GRP cab, wooden back body, plastic and wood wheels, moveable rubber tracks and tyres, rotating foam spray turret, painted in yellow, with blue and red lettering and adhesive silver panels, tubular front subframe suspended on foam (now decaying), weighted with lead, with two vertical tubes in chassis, possibly for attachment to dolly, detailing to nearside only, with electrical switch on offside --67cm. long, late 1960s (F, some parts missing, some damage)

This model was acquired by the original owner at the same time as the following lot. According to the members of Fanderson, this is not a known production model, although a detailed, signed design sketch by Derek Meddings of it does exist (see illustration). The solid but simple internal structure points to the intention of use as a production model; it is also detailed on one side only.
