A RARE LARGE HUANGHUALI DOCUMENT BOX
17TH-18TH CENTURY
The box is constructed from single panels of attractively figured huanghuali with beading along the edges. The joinery is concealed with brass hardware at the corners, and the front and sides are set with a lock plate and thick bail handles.
6 in. (15.2 cm.) high, 19 5/8 in. (49.8 cm.) wide, 11 7/8 in. (30.2 cm.) deep
