the body bound by plain vertical straps, with acorn finial to the screw cover, on a domed stepped foot, maker's mark within a lozenge to the underside G.B. -- 7in. (18cm.) high

The makers mark possibly relates to that of a G.B.Brisseaud, flourishing in the early 19th century.
