MACLELLAN, GLASGOW & LONDON, 3938, gold hands, subsidiary rings for seconds and up/down (0-56), the movement with spotted plates, chain fusee, Earnshaw spring detent escapement, blued steel helical spring to cut bimetallic balance with circular heat compensation weights, dial plate and brass bowl stamped 3938, the box with recessed handles to the sides; replacement top lid and vacant brass signature disc to middle section - the box 7in. square
