An English mahogany longcase clock, 19th century
The ebony line inlaid case with breakarch hood with reeded canted angles, conforming angles to the trunk flanking a shallow arched trunk door, the plinth raised on outswept feet, the circular brass dial with brass Roman and Arabic chapter ring with elaborate fleur-de-lys half hour markers, with subsidiary seconds ring and brass hands, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; composite, case circa 1820, movement first half 19th century, dial adapted -- 82½in. (209cm.) high
