OTTOMAN TURKEY, CIRCA 1580
On short rounded foot rising to wide baluster body with slightly flaring cylindrical neck and S-shaped handle, painted in cobalt-blue, green and bole-red with pairs of tulips, stylised pomegranates and cintamani roundels, the design on painted cobalt-blue ground and divided into two registers, the handle with cobalt-blue stripes, small area of repair underneath the handle
