the Puss Moth being de Havilland's 1929 response to the world's light aeroplane pilots who wanted the comfort of an enclosed cabin to supplement the spartan style of the open cockpit types of the era; the two passengers were accommodated on staggered tandem seats behind the pilot and the main undercarriage fairings could be rotated through ninety degrees to form air brakes and steepen the glide angle; exhibited at the 1977 Model Engineer Exhibition where it won a Bronze Medal -- Wing Span 12in.
