Approximately 250 (of 320) samples in gilt, a few are in silver or colored paper, mounted in a 19th century accordion style binding of cloth backed boards (light rubbing); board folding case. Provenance: purchased from Emil Offenbacher, 27 May 1960.

The volume is probably a salesman's sample book, as each item is numbered, with the general designation written in German on the top of each page. It contains approximately 250 samples in various shapes including: crucifixes, angels, crowns, stars, letters, numbers, etc.
