ROYAL PRESENTATION SILVER:- A VICTORIAN SILVER FRUIT DISH,
MARK OF JOSEPH HARPER, LONDON, 1884,
Shaped circular with scroll & floral border, pierced fretwork sides embossed with large alternate plain & beaded flutes, on similarly pierced & acanthus-chased pedestal foot, centre engraved with crest & motto scroll of Reid & below this "FROM" then the crowned Royal cypher VRI above "XMAS 1898", 13½ in. diameter (34 cm.), 8½ in. high (21.8 cm.), 37.25 oz.
