Modelled by J.J. Kändler, Harlequin in pale-puce conical hat, white ruff and waistcoat eged with gilt lines, turquoise breeches and yellow shoes, Columbine in turquoise hat, puce and black bodice, white blouse and apron, yellow flowered skirt and black shoes, he playing the bagpipes, she a hurdy-gurdy, each seated on rockwork bases, his applied with flowers and foliage (he with restoration to hands and bagpipe chanter, left foot and ankle possibly a replacement, firing cracks to his thighs, slight chips to foliage, she with restoration to hat, shoes, ribbons, small left finger and bridge of instrument)
