with ivory plaque for SQUIRE CHEMIST TO THE QUEEN, 277, OXFORD STREET, LONDON, of cupboard style, with red velvet lining throughout, the galleried doors housing five bottles each with ground stoppers and paper content labels, the central section with galleried area to house five similiar bottles, and two compartmentalised drawers beneath with brass recessed military handles, the upper drawer containing handheld apothecary balance and weights and the lower with four small bottles with ground stoppers and paper content labels, a glass mortar and pestle and a measuring cylinder, the case with brass recessed military handle (bent) and two eschuteons (one filled) and a key -- 19.5 x 18.3 x 18.4cm.
