A gilt bronze figure of Vasudhara
Central Tibet, 14th/15th Century
Superbly cast with the six-armed deity seated in lalitasana over a low double-lotus base with beaded rims, the lowered right hand in varada mudra and the principal left hand holding the vase of Amrita in front, wearing a long dhoti with richly incised floral bands and beaded rims secured by a jeweled belt, adorned with further jewelry inlaid with hardstones, the face with the third eye and the hair secured by a foliate tiara with thick locks spilling over the shoulders, richly gilt overall
