On 15 October Christie's will have the privilege of hosting the auction of The Yoav Harlap Collection, one of the finest Post-War and Contemporary art collections to be sold in Europe. The collection comprises thirty-five works spanning five decades, from the late 1940s to the early 1990s.

The leading art critic and founder of the 1960s Nouveau Realism movement, Pierre Restany, wrote that the collection provides an 'accomplished glance about the truth of the world'. The collection spans an incredible range with seminal works by nearly all of the Nouveaux Réalistes and icons of 'Pop' art, including amongst others Andy Warhol, Tom Wesselmann, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Yves Klein, Jacques de la Villeglé, Raymond Hains, Francois Dufrêne, Arman, Mimmo Rotella, and Lucio Fontana.

We look forward to welcoming you to the viewing of this sale, which will begin on 11 October at Christie's King Street. Should you be unable to travel to London, we would be delighted to send you further information on any of the works in this sale, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
