This historic sale of iconic designs from the celebrated Pacific Heights mansion in San Francisco, California, encompasses rare and unique works by 20th century design masters Alberto Giacometti, Jean-Michel Frank and Emilio Terry. Principal rooms of the commission, such as the Card Room and the Bar, showcase designs by Frances Elkins as well, offering a unique opportunity to explore Elkins's masterful eye at pre-war American modernism. The sale of over 30 lots is coming to auction for the first time, the items all having remained in the residence since their 1937 placement.
