For close to ninety years, the Dalva family have played an essential role in New York: to shine a light on 18th Century French decorative arts and share a passion for this field with the world. Over the decades their gallery was a heaven and a destination for the elite of New York society. Greta Garbo, Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis and even John Lennon were among their frequent visitors, while they also sold to many of the world’s top museums, such as the Getty, the Metropolitan Museum, the Louvre and the château de Versailles.
