Important Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art features outstanding works from a number of important private collections of ceramics, cloisonné, lacquer, jade, scholar’s objects, textiles, and important classical Chinese furniture. Highlights include a 17^th-century magnificent and extremely rare huanghuali clothes rack, an exquisite Yongle-period blue and white bracket-lobed dish, and a large early 15^th-century gilt-bronze mirror, as well as a group of forty works from the collection of Japanese collector Dr. Horiuchi Hiroshi and a curated selection of Chinese porcelains from the collection of Professor and Mrs. Yu Chunming.
