This Spring, international collectors and bibliophiles will once again gather at Christie’s Paris for a new auction, featuring landmark illustrated books by Picasso, Miró and Zao Wou-Ki, important manuscripts by Voltaire, Proust and Aragon and rare photographs by Bellmer, Ronis and Molinier. Spanning more than five centuries of writing and printing, the sale also showcases some livres d’artistes by Duchamp or Dali, offering a fascinating dive into the shapes and visions of the book through the years.
