Bambi (Red Flasers) (Lot 2422) is three-dimensional evidence that the imagined world can be fully incorporated into our lives in this era of digitalization. Here, the hero, having stepped out from the canvas in a dynamic stride, exudes an indestructible force, and is consumed by an inspiring grandeur, sanctified with the acrylic sheen on his physical form, glistening golden horns and determined eyes. The sculpture is suggestive of the search of alternative guises in our contemporary universe, and reaches out to our fantasies as heroes and ideal personas. He embraces the encroaching symbiosis between man and digital media, encouraging its communication through the visual language of animation and art in this new era to sparking greater artistic and personal intercommunication between people.
