SOUTHERN SONG DYNASTY, 13TH CENTURY
The bowl is potted with rounded sides rising from a short foot ring to a upright rim. The exterior is carved with overlapping upright lotus petals. It is covered overall with a thick glaze of bluish-green tone, with the exception of the foot ring which is burnt orange in the firing.
