Chanel Vanity Case

The Chanel Vanity Case, introduced in the 1990s under Karl Lagerfeld, reimagines the vintage cosmetic case as a statement of modern luxury. Defined by its structured silhouette, zip-around closure and interlocking CC motif, the design exemplifies the house’s enduring balance of heritage and innovation.

Early iterations were crafted in black caviar leather, while the Chanel Filigree Vanity Case was launched in 2016 in a range of seasonal colours, leathers and finishes. Alongside the highly coveted Mini Vanity iterations, the design remains celebrated for how it evokes nostalgia while still being rooted in contemporary style.
