Christie’s Hong Kong is delighted to present Fine Chinese Works of Art from the Yaogushanfang Collection on 6 April 2015. Celebrating the spirit of yaogu, the pleasure of appreciating and admiring antiquities, the sale comprises Song-dynasty ceramics, Ming- and Qing-dynasty jade carvings, bamboo and wood carvings, Buddhist art, snuff bottles, later bronzes, and other magnificent works of art that epitomize the quest for refinement and beauty of scholar-collectors in ancient China.
