The first of the new Interiors sales is curated by Nicolas Dufour, who has been with the Cabinet Alberto Pinto for more than 13 years. With his eclectic taste and talent for interior design, he has selected paintings, furniture and works of art and created interiors which reflect his inspiration. The highlight of the selection, which he also chose for the cover of the catalogue, is a 20th century Indian door. In wood and ivory, it represents the wide range of lots offered in the Interiors sale. Further highlights include four chromogenic prints by Walter Niedermayer representing the glacier of la Grande Motte, six etchings by Sam Szafran entitled Escaliers, and stylish 18th century Italian furniture from a collection from the South of France, the perfect complement to a contemporary interior.
