The Léon Parcé Collection continues this dialogue with a masterpiece from the history of science: the Pascaline, the first calculating machine ever created and the last remaining example in private hands. It is accompanied by an exceptional library that includes works by Pascal, Galileo, Kepler, Newton and Descartes.
The online sale, Old Masters – Paintings, Sculptures, Drawings, and Silver, illustrates the breadth of European craftsmanship, from the refinement of Flemish and Spanish painting to the virtuosity of master silversmiths.
