Les Passions du Baron de Besenval - A Salon Reimagined

Discover the refined world of Baron de Besenval through a vivid recreation of his legendary Parisian salon. Inspired by Henri-Pierre Danloux’s 1791 portrait, this installation brings together exquisite 18th-century pieces — from ormolu-mounted celadon vases to a Louis XV bureau plat — each reflecting the Baron’s taste for elegance, diplomacy and drama. Step into a space where collecting was an art, and every object told a story.
