19th Century, probably European for the eastern market
The first with curved watered single-edged blade double-edged towards the point and with lightly etched decoration involving crescents and Turks' heads, iron hilt with quillons with acorn-shaped tips, rounded horn grip-scales, and sword-knot, in original iron scabbard with two suspension rings; the second with curved single-edged blade double-edged towards the point, and iron hilt with horn grip-scales, in original iron-mounted leather-covered open-fronted scabbard with two suspension rings, the sword held in place by the tip of the blade and the sleeve below the quillons
