The type of stone and the opaque alterations at the edges of this bi are similar to that of bi from the Qijia culture, such as one excavated in Lajia, Minhe, Qinghai province, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Jades Unearthed in China - 15 - Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Beijing, 2005, p. 144.
