此器源自徐氏藝術基金，2006年4月10日於香港蘇富比拍賣，拍品1778號。被著錄於1976年出版之《繭山龍泉堂七十年》圖版928，同年東京小學館出版《世界陶磁全集‧14‧明》圖版54。

The present vase belongs to a small group of similarly decorated Wanli-marked vases, including an example from the Idemistu Art Gallery, illustrated in Chinese Ceramics in the Idemitsu Collection, Japan, 1987, pl. 740; and a vase from the Edward T. Chow Collection, sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong, 19 January 1981, lot 434. Two further vases were sold at Christie's Hong Kong: the first was sold, 31 March 1992, lot 566 and the other, 1 November 2004, lot 1102.
