Please note that this work is sold with an ostrich egg hand-painted by Roberto Matta, entitled L'oeil de l'oeuf, as viewed in the catalogue. The authenticity of the painted egg has been confirmed by Mrs Germana Matta. Matta began to use the ostrich egg as a support when he saw that Miro, Chagall and others did so for Dr Jean Paul Binet.
