With broad tapering double-edged blade cut on each side at the forte with three fullers and struck the three crescent moon marks, iron hilt of broad flattened bars incised with lines framing plain shields and panels, the rear-guard linked on the outer side by an S-shaped filler (missing on the inner side), and compressed fluted domed pommel, and later rayskin-covered grip (worn, wire binding missing) retaining the upper Turk's head (some pitting and cleaned bright throughout)
