清乾隆 黃地粉彩開光「佛日常明」紋盌 雙方框四字楷書款

QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE-SQUARES AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)

細節
盌撇口,深弧腹,圈足。器內施白釉。外壁黃釉地上四面圓形開光,開光內錦地上「佛」、「日」、「常」、「明」四字,一朵蓮相間。圈足內藍料雙方框內書「乾隆年製」楷書款。

「佛日常明」為佛家吉語,為裝飾圖案的精品。《清宮檔案》中有這樣的記載:「乾隆元年十二月......於本月二十二日,七品首領薩木哈將鏇得畫各樣花卉木樣四件並原樣盤二件持進交太監毛團呈覽。奉旨:准造畫佛日長明字黃地青番花盤樣式做七寸盤,五寸盤,大碗,小碗俱照此花卉樣做。欽此。」此器之式樣,乾隆後幾朝延燒不斷。

The design on the present lot is recorded in the Qing Palace Archives: 'On the twenty-second day of the twelfth month in the first year of the Qianlong reign (1736)...the emperor endorsed the production of wares in accordance with the plate prototype featuring a yellow ground with green-enamelled floral motifs and the four characters Fori chang ming, applicable on any 7-cun (the Chinese measurement cun is equivalent to 3.2-3.55 cm) plate, 5-cun plate, large bowl and small bowl...' Henceforth, that design was widely fashioned on porcelain wares in the following reigns.
