清乾隆 「玉清」墨

細節
墨圓口略尖,描金。一面藍彩題墨名「玉清」,下有描金「圖書真賞」方印。另一面飾湖石盆景及瓶花。邊緣有款,一面書「乾隆丙寅八月中秋吳守默」(即1746年),另一面書「延綠齋按十萬杵法造」。

吳守默為清初墨家,安徽歙縣人。墨肆名延綠齋。後輩常常延用創始者的墨肆及製墨者的名字,即為後世的「延綠齋製品」。

Wu Shomo, a native of She County, Anhui Province, was a well-known ink maker in the early Qing dynasty, who named his workshop Yanluzhai. As a tradition among Chinese ink makers, the subsequent generation that had been handed over the practice would continue the use of the name of the master and the name of the workshop, as is this the case with the present example, which bears the signature of Wu Shomo but with a Qianlong period date.
