A GEORGE IV ENAMELLED GOLD HAND-SEAL
CIRCA 1820
Formed as a hand wearing a chased gold gauntlet and clutching a baton with quartz matrix with cypher, the upper sleave with black taille d'épargne enamel with chased gold-mounted bloodstone matrix later engraved with a coat-of-arms
2½ in. (65 mm.) high
The arms are those of Lascelles impaling de Burgh for Henry, 4th Earl of Harewood (1824-1892) and his wife Elizabeth, (d. 1804), daughter of Ulick, 1st Marquess of Clanricarde (1802-1874), whom he married in 1845.
