Arabic manuscript on gold-speckled paper, 151ff. plus four fly-leaves, each folio with 23ll. of small black naskh script, with gold and black roundel verse markers, sura headings in gold thuluth script outlined in black within gold cartouches, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, with catchwords, the margins a 19th century Qajar restoration with added comments and illumination, final folio with added signature of Ahmad al-Nayrizi, in gilt lacquer binding with marbled paper doublures
