The interior of each dish is delicately enamelled with an elegant lady seated on a garden stool by a table, with two young boys standing beside her. The underside is decorated with a shou-character roundel surrounded by five bats, enclosed within a floral border with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang.
