Molded bottles of this type are usually enameled in a monochrome color, such as a bottle of very similar design attributed to Wang Bingrong, covered with a caramel-brown glaze, from the J & J Collection of Snuff Bottles, Part III, sold at Christie's New York, 29 March 2006, lot 12.
