Bringing together the very highest level of advanced horology with stunning aesthetics, the Balancier S Incline is both sporting and at the same time boasting exceptional chronometry. The ingenious curved, ovoid-shaped case in carbon appears to be round and yet at the same time oval depending upon the angle it is viewed from. It is fitted with an oval arched sapphire crystal that follows the curvature of the case for an optimum view of the dial and balance. The main plate of the dial is partly angled at 30 degrees where the large 12.6 mm. diameter balance wheel is positioned at 7 o’clock. Greubel Forsey's in-house variable inertia balance wheel, first presented in 2016, has six gold inertial screws that have been inset within the wheel in order to reduce air friction. Next to the balance at 8 o’clock is the subsidiary dial for small seconds and at 2 o’clock is the 72-hour power reserve indicator. A double-suspended arched bridge holds the inclined gear train and curved hour and minute hands.
