SIGNED 'ALA AL-DIN AL-TABRIZI, SAFAVID IRAN, THIRD QUARTER 16TH CENTURY
Arabic manuscript on paper, with one large line of black naskh on yellow, slightly speckled paper, beneath this 7ll. of smaller naskh written diagonally in clouds reserved against gold and polychrome floral ground, the first and last of these lines outlined in white, laid down between minor grey marbled and pink borders on brown card
Calligraphy 7 7/8 x 4 5/8in. (21 x 11.5cm.)
