Sherese Tong (唐晞殷)

Sherese Tong is Vice President and Senior Specialist in the Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art Department at Christie’s, working between Hong Kong and Shanghai. She joined Christie’s Hong Kong in 2010, formally entered the department in 2012 after completing specialist training and early roles within the team.
In 2021, Sherese took on a secondment to Shanghai, where she played a central role in strengthening the department’s relationships with clients across Shanghai and southern China. She has since returned to Hong Kong to assume an expanded position focused on cultivating collectors across Hong Kong and Greater China and developing new consignment opportunities. She continues to serve as the department representative in Shanghai, ensuring ongoing support for clients in mainland China.
Sherese oversees business development, client engagement, research, and catalogue production for major Asian art sales. Her notable achievements include leading the landmark Tianminlou Collection sale in Autumn 2023 and The Au Bak Ling Collection Volume II in Autumn 2025, both of which featured important Chinese ceramics from prestigious private collections.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sherese received her education in the United States and the United Kingdom, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA, a Master of Letters in Arts of China from the University of Glasgow, and a Master of Arts in Chinese History from the University of Hong Kong.
