Christie’s is delighted to present another distinguished selection featuring an array of legendary wineries. This sale showcases a number of esteemed private collections spanning 70 years, offering the finest producers and vintages, with wines sure to suit everyone’s taste.
Bordeaux is well represented by First Growths and their esteemed Right Bank counterparts from spectacular vintages, mostly kept in original wooden cases. Highlights include Château Lafite Rothschild, Haut-Brion, Latour, Margaux, and Mouton from the 2000s to 2010s, alongside the exceptional 1989 La Mission-Haut-Brion. Right Bank treasures include 1970s Pétrus, 2000s Château Ausone, Château Angélus, and Château Cheval Blanc.
The collection also focuses on renowned Burgundy domaines such as Domaine Dujac, Domaine Armand Rousseau, Domaine René Engel, and many more. A remarkable selection of Domaine Leroy is featured, including acclaimed grands crus like Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Clos de la Roche, Chambertin, and Latricières-Chambertin from the 1990s to 2010s. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is prominently represented with Romanée-Conti, La Tâche, Richebourg, and Grands-Échézeaux from 1990s to 2015.
White wine enthusiasts will find notable highlights including Domaine Leflaive Bâtard-Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet, Montrachet from 1995 and Coche-Dury Meursault from the 2010s, as well as exceptional examples from Domaine d’Auvenay Meursault Les Gouttes d'Or and Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières dating to the 2000s, showcasing some of Burgundy’s finest white wines.
Highlights from other regions include Biondi-Santi Riserva from 1969 to 1975, Soldera from 2000s, Masseto 1999, Opus One 2012, and Vega Sicilia Único 2012, all in original wooden cases.
A limited selection of fine spirits is also offered, including Karuizawa 1965 – Streams of Time #8852, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Marc de Bourgogne 1979, and Fine de Bourgogne 1993.
